A follow up fanart of Cloud to match my Sephiroth: Dawn picture.

(couldn't think of a good background because the sword was too distracting)


Studied a bit of Turner's works along with Sargent Singer's portraits for this piece.
Btw, the lighting is complete bullshit. It is just to help sell the face.

good stuff =) a few crits tho (hope you dont mind): his wolf button thingy on his chest would be in complete shadow but its being lit with some unknown light source like its glowing, and also it doesn't look like he's clutching his sword. With that kind of hand position it looks like that heavy sword would just slide right out of his grasp...
